VIK Master Suite, Viña Vik, Millahue, Chile
At the Viña Vik, an “avant-garde retreat and wine spa” in Millahue, Chile, a carbon-fiber bathtub suspended from the ceiling is strategically positioned for Technicolor views of valleys and vineyards just outside the window. Designed by London’s Splinter Works Studio, the VIK Master Suite’s tub also boasts a foam-insulated core—meaning your hot baths stay steamy longer.
Royal Two-Bedroom Suite, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Dubai
As if the five-head rain shower, Hermès amenities, and cloud-like carpets weren’t enough, an eye-popping color scheme—all purple, gold, and veined marble—make this massive bathroom at the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah positively seductive.
Presidential Suite, Le Royal Monceau Raffles, Paris
Leave it to Philippe Starck to turn the notion of a bathroom vanity on its head. His design for Le Royal Monceau Raffles’ over-the-top Presidential Suite includes this all-mirrored washroom that’s at once strikingly retro-futuristic, a bit frightening, and incredibly sleek.
Neptune and Poseidon Suites, Atlantis, The Palm Dubai
Play mermaid—or merman—in these underwater suites, which immerse you in the hotel’s Ambassador Lagoon, home to some 65,000 sea creatures who go about their business as you do yours. Both the Neptune and Poseidon suites also boast jetted tubs and showers, and splashy amenities like soaps, shampoos, and conditioner made with 24-karat gold.
Bay Suite, Point Yamu by COMO, Phuket, Thailand
Paola Navone’s design for the Bay Suite at Point Yamu by COMO isn’t only one of the most beautiful hotel bathrooms we’ve seen; it’s simply a gorgeous room. The blue tiles are genius, the teacup tub is like a sculpture, floating pendant lights are inspired, and dual everything—sinks, towels, robes, racks—makes eminent sense. You might be tempted to just bed down in here.
Affresco Suite, Il Salviatino, Florence
A work of art in itself, this freestanding tub of ancient Roman stone isn’t even the most eye-catching feature of Il Salviatino’s Affresco Suite bathroom: As you recline for a soak, you’ll be staring at a fresco created by Italian painter Domenico Bruschi in 1886.
Pacific Suite, Post Ranch Inn, Big Sur, CA
This zen-luxe retreat is carved into cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean; your view from the Pacific Suite’s terrace tub is the wild blue yonder, with painterly light that makes every soak feel like a new trip.
Presidential Suite, Hyatt on the Bund, Shanghai
Mesmerizing views of Shanghai’s glittery skyline provide the backdrop for the huge jetted soaking tub inside Hyatt on the Bund’s sleek, sumptuous Presidential Suite.
